Yesterday, a federal judge denied my motion for a preliminary injunction against Paramount Skydance Corporation, World of Wonder Productions, Inc., and Cody Barnes.

The court acknowledged that my trademark claims raise “serious concern”—meaning the issue is real and valid—yet still refused to act, allowing Paramount, World of Wonder, and Barnes to keep using my name while the case continues. Instead, the decision turned on a so-called “unclear record” about which “channels” of entertainment each party operated in.

Let’s be clear about what that means.

My use of LEXI LOVE® began in 2004. The court explicitly places that origin in the adult industry—then separates it from “more mainstream” entertainment when evaluating my rights.

That framing is not neutral.

It creates a hierarchy inside the same category of “entertainment,” where certain careers are treated as less worthy of legal protection. Federal trademark law does not divide artists into “acceptable” and “unacceptable” verticals.

It protects use in commerce. Period.

When a court uses my early career to question my rights, while allowing a global television rollout of the identical name by Paramount and World of Wonder to continue, that raises serious concerns about unequal treatment under the law.

I am appealing this decision.
This is not the end of the case.
This is one ruling on an early motion.

I will continue enforcing my federally registered LEXI LOVE® trademark globally.

Paramount does not get to rewrite the origin of my name.
No one does.
