How hot must a star get before it becomes a star?
Hot like watching your sisters Best Friend change while you are hiding in the closet.
What gases are needed to produce the new star? Why do you need these gases? What are their functions?
Hot air. To fill their heads with. If you fill their heads with hot air they will think they are gods gift to the world and do whatever their PR ppl tell them to.
How long does it take to produce a star? Why does it take that long?
Depends on how much BS you can convince your newly forming star to do. Because every now and then you get a smart one.
What does nuclear fission have to do with the birth of stars?
Nothing. Most stars to be have no idea What nuclear fission is.
